  • End of year wrap up (2011)

BLOG I'm currently in the planning stages to rebuild this site.  I've delayed doing this for a long time since I didn't want to "break links"; however, one reason why I don't contribute as much as I used to is the fact that I enjoy the comment interaction.  Thanks to blog spam, I had to disable anonymous ...

  • XboxFriends + Community Server

OK, it's more of a proof of concept right now, but as you can see utilizing the HTTP Notifications feature in XboxFriends for the Desktop I am able to display my Xbox Live friends list on the right hand side.  It does use caching so it is a little bit behind what the desktop application shows (within 3 minutes); but it looks pretty good ...

  • Grrrr... Community Server

Community Server migration is still kicking me in the ***... I guess I'm going to have to bite the bullet and push the CS files to the root folder so that I can take advantage of some of the other features of the product while also allowing me to maintain my search engine indexing. In the process of removing one database, I forgot ...

  • Migration to Community Server 2.1

I'm in the process (as if you haven't noticed) of migrating from .TEXT v0.95 circa 2003 to Community Server v2.1.  I still have a ways to go, but at least the initial work is finished.  The guys at Telligent have been extremely helpful throughout this process so do what you can to support them. So why the move? Well, .TEXT was ...
