Community Starter Kit

Tonight I’ve been playing around with the community starter kit available for download at the ASP.NET. Although pretty basic in overall features, it’s an excellent start for a full blown web site. It took me a minute to get my head around the way that it’s put together. Even though it’s still in beta form, it’s some pretty cool code to work with. Obviously there are some things I’d like to see added; but overall I give it a huge two thumbs up.

I’ll probably use this as a code base for a site that I’m currently in the process of redesigning as I move it to ASP.NET. Will be combining it with the ASP.NET forums and BlogX ;-)

Of course the work on this will have to wait until I get back from my camping / four wheelin’ trip to Paladuro Canyon… so no updates until probably Monday.
